From Passion to Purpose
Luis is Poteet born and raised — a local through and through. He grew up with grease under his fingernails and a wrench in his hand. What started as working on his own trucks turned into a calling — a deep-rooted passion for making vehicles perform and look exactly the way their owners envision them.
Anna is a Houston native who brought big-city drive and vision to Atascosa County. Together, they built LA Custom from the ground up — not just as a shop, but as a destination for the car community in Atascosa County and the surrounding areas.
Every build that leaves this shop carries a piece of that story. The attention to detail, the refusal to cut corners, the pride in the work — that's Luis and Anna in everything we do.

Luis
Lead Mechanic & Co-OwnerA Poteet local, Luis handles the technical side of every build — engine work, lift kits, performance upgrades, and everything in between. He grew up in the car culture of Atascosa County and his standard is simple: if it's not right, it doesn't leave the shop.
Anna
Operations & Co-OwnerA Houston native, Anna brought big-city energy and business savvy to Poteet. She keeps everything running — from customer relationships to shop operations. She's the reason LA Custom feels like family from the moment you walk in.
